Shelby Keye received the 2022 Robert L. Sprague Graduate Student Award from the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. This award is based upon academic merit.

The BCNN lab participated in the 2022 Read Across America Champaign-Urbana event held at Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana, Illinois.

Jeongwoon (John) Kim received the 2022 T.K. Cureton Physical Fitness Research Award from the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. This award is to support research directed toward physical performance and fitness. The award is based upon the relative merits of a research proposal evaluated by a review committee. John was presented with the ward at the awards ceremony on April 7, 2022.
